This position involves performing routine and special work as assigned by the Building Principal/Director. Essential duties include serving as a receptionist, greeting and assisting students, teachers, and parents, and managing telephone communications by answering calls and taking messages. The role also requires assisting with monthly communication efforts directed at students, families, and staff. Key accounting responsibilities include coding, tracking, ordering, checking in, and maintaining inventory for all building furniture, materials, and supplies. The secretary will utilize computers and district programs to manage building-related issues, maintain payroll information and monthly payroll reports, and oversee school inventory and general bookkeeping. Additionally, the position requires providing nursing/first aid services when the school nurse is not present in the building.
