About The Position

This role is a Per Diem position with various 12-hour shifts available at Gagnon 4 Post TAVR, Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center. The position combines secretarial and patient care technician duties. The ideal candidate will be flexible and patient-focused, assisting with both administrative tasks and direct patient care as needed. Requirements

Proficiency in EPIC use
Ability to perform EKGs
Ability to obtain vital signs
Ability to perform glucometer testing
Ability to assist with meals
Ability to transport patients
Ability to disinfect equipment
Ability to perform ADLs (skin care, bathing, oral hygiene, mobility)

Responsibilities

Answering phones, call bells, and visitor intercom
Managing supply inventory, ordering, and restocking
Procuring supplies
Preparing and maintaining patient charts
Tracking patient flow in and out of the unit
Filing as needed
Utilizing EPIC for documentation
Performing EKGs
Obtaining vital signs
Performing glucometer testing
Assisting with meals
Transporting patients
Disinfecting equipment
Performing ADLs such as skin care, bathing, oral hygiene, and mobility assistance
