About The Position

Join our Chesapeake Campus (located in Joppa) as a Secondary Technology Teacher! You’ll play a key role in planning and delivering engaging instruction across Grades 9–11 in mechanical drafting, mechanical design, and civil and structural engineering through both in-person and live online formats using Zoom, while managing day-to-day classroom responsibilities including assessment, reporting, and student support. Using industry-standard software including AutoCAD and Autodesk Fusion 360, the successful candidate will guide students through progressively complex drafting and design projects, culminating in a Grade 11 prototype built using 3D printing technology.

Requirements

Must be living in the USA and authorized to work here.
Maryland Teaching Certification
Knowledge in AutoCAD & Fusion 360 required

Nice To Haves

Experience with 3D printing and slicing software preferred

Responsibilities

Planning and delivering engaging instruction across Grades 9–11 in mechanical drafting, mechanical design, and civil and structural engineering.
