Secondary Technology Teacher
About The Position
Join our Chicago Campus (located in Elk Grove Village) as a Secondary Technology Teacher! You’ll play a key role in planning and delivering engaging, hands-on instruction across Grades 9–11 in mechanical drafting, mechanical design, and civil and structural engineering through both in-person and live online formats using Zoom, while managing day-to-day classroom responsibilities including assessment, reporting, and student support. Using industry-standard software including AutoCAD and Autodesk Fusion 360, the successful candidate will guide students through progressively complex drafting and design projects, culminating in a Grade 11 prototype built using 3D printing technology.
Requirements
- Must be living in the USA and authorized to work here.
- Illinois Teaching Certification
- Knowledge in AutoCAD & Fusion 360 required
Nice To Haves
- Experience with 3D printing and slicing software preferred
