About The Position

Pomona Unified School District is hiring a Secondary Teacher in Dance for the 2026–27 school year at various secondary sites. Outside applicants must submit a completed online Edjoin application with the required documents: applicable test-passing verification, a transcript showing a bachelor’s degree, proof of an appropriate California teaching credential authorizing Dance or qualifying internship documentation, three signed and dated letters of recommendation (including one from a recent immediate supervisor), and a current resume. District employees may submit a transfer request form and current resume. Employment is contingent on Department of Justice fingerprint clearance; selected candidates must also have a Mandated Reporter Training Certificate of Completion.

Requirements

• Outside applicants must submit a fully completed online Edjoin application; a resume does not replace the application.
• Submit applicable verification of passing CSET, RICA, SSAT, and/or MSAT.
• Submit an unofficial transcript showing a bachelor’s degree posted.
• Provide a Preliminary or Clear California Teaching Credential authorizing teaching in Dance, or documentation of preliminary acceptance in a CTC-approved Teacher Internship Program authorizing Dance, with a valid intern-eligible letter dated within the past six months.
• Submit three letters of recommendation signed and dated within the past three years, including one from a recent immediate supervisor; signatures must be handwritten.
• Submit a current resume.
• Selected candidates must obtain Department of Justice fingerprint clearance.
• Selected candidates must have a Mandated Reporter Training Certificate of Completion.
