Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or the equivalent is required
• Ability to understand and communicate basic English as defined by English equivalent to satisfactory grammar school level (6th grade English) in order to accurately comprehend and express legally required communications.
• Basic counting and math skills.
• Be able to work well under the pressure of production deadlines, work cooperatively with others and be dependable & timely in one’s work.
• Ability to follow directions correctly and efficiently perform tasks and a willingness to work with a team.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Near Vision — the ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).

Responsibilities

• Rapidly, precisely, safely, and accurately perform deburring, flat sanding, removing micro joints, or other secondary operations as required.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine required secondary operations.
• Maintain proper tools and replace as needed to meet specifications.
• Record operational or production data.
• Load and unload items from both mobile and stationary carts, crates and palettes.
• Place products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Remove products or workpieces from secondary work environment to the next operation.
