Secondary Operations Associate
About The Position
J & O Plastics is a growing manufacturer of custom injection-molded products focused on operational excellence, innovation, efficiency, and quality. Secondary Operations Associates are responsible for completing assembly work for a customer and working as part of a team on a pack-out line to complete customer sets. The role includes packaging, assembly, and foaming, as well as maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Associates may be assigned other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers.
- Reliability and open communication with management to achieve goals and production requirements.
- Ability to follow standard work regulations and processes.
- Willingness to cross-train in other functions or departments.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to bend, lift, and kneel.
Responsibilities
- Package products.
- Assemble products and complete customer assemblies.
- Perform foaming tasks.
- Use tools such as mallets, a drill press, and a rivet gun.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Follow rules, regulations, processes, and safety guidelines.
- Work with others in a team environment and contribute to pack-out lines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
