Kansas Secondary ELA Teacher/Instructional Coach/Master Educator
About The Position
Bailey Education Group, LLC is growing its team of Secondary ELA consultants and seeking highly skilled secondary ELA and Literacy experts who live in states bordering Nebraska and can easily drive into Nebraska districts for on-site instructional coaching. This is a 1099 Consultant role offering a competitive daily rate, professional flexibility, and the opportunity to make a lasting difference in secondary literacy outcomes across Nebraska. Bailey Education Group is committed to partnering with all schools and districts to improve the lives of all children through customized professional development and side-by-side teacher coaching, performed by certified instructional coaches with a deep understanding of state standards for Reading, Math, Science, and Social Studies. Requirements
- Deep expertise in Secondary ELA (grades 6–12)
- Strong knowledge of reading, writing, and language standards
- Experience coaching teachers or leading ELA departments
- Data analysis skills to inform instruction
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
- Strength in classroom management and instructional modeling
- Organizational discipline and professionalism
- A problem-solving, customer-focused mindset
- Ability to drive into Nebraska from a bordering state (CO, IA, KS, SD, MO, WY)
- Must undergo comprehensive background checks
- Must comply with any specific background screening procedures or requirements mandated by the state(s) in which they will be providing services.

Responsibilities
- Collaborating with grades 6–12 ELA teachers to strengthen instruction
- Supporting curriculum implementation aligned to state standards
- Conducting classroom observations and providing actionable feedback
- Modeling lessons and co-teaching to support instructional growth
- Leading professional development sessions on writing instruction, text complexity, close reading, academic vocabulary, and more
- Analyzing student performance data to guide literacy interventions
- Helping teachers design rigorous assessments and instructional materials
- Building teacher capacity through ongoing coaching cycles
