About The Position

Lasercraft USA is seeking an experienced and motivated Second Shift Supervisor to lead our production team during second shift operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing background, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. This position is responsible for supervising production employees, meeting daily production goals, and ensuring efficient operations while maintaining a positive work environment. Requirements

Prior manufacturing experience is required.
Demonstrated leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to motivate and manage employees in a fast-paced production environment.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, and quality standards.
Proficiency with basic computer applications and production reporting systems.
High school diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
additional technical or supervisory training is a plus.

Responsibilities

Supervise and lead second shift production employees to achieve daily production goals.
Promote a safe work environment by enforcing company safety policies and procedures.
Monitor production schedules to ensure quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Train, coach, and develop team members to improve performance and productivity.
Address employee performance, attendance, and disciplinary matters in accordance with company policies.
Coordinate with first shift supervisors and management to ensure smooth shift transitions and communication.
Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and manufacturing procedures.
Maintain accurate production records and prepare shift reports.
Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
