About The Position

The Second Shift Electrical Lead oversees and guides the electrical team during the second shift, ensuring electrical projects, maintenance, and troubleshooting are carried out efficiently and safely. The role leads electrical operators and coordinates installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance for production equipment and facility infrastructure. It also works across shifts and departments to support operational continuity, maintain work records, and improve electrical processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of electrical operators during the second shift, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Plan, schedule, and execute electrical installations, repairs, and preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility infrastructure.
• Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation to support repairs and modifications.
• Coordinate with other shifts and departments to ensure smooth operational transitions and project continuity.
• Implement and maintain a preventive maintenance program for electrical systems.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical work, including repairs, installations, and inventory.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency within the electrical department.
• Participate in root cause analysis of electrical failures and implement corrective actions.
