About The Position

Knoxville Community School District is seeking qualified candidates for an anticipated Second Grade Classroom Teacher position for the 2026–2027 school year at West Elementary. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to enhance academic performance, support the school district’s student achievement goals, possess strong content knowledge, plan and prepare for instruction, utilize diverse teaching strategies to meet varied learning needs, employ various methods to monitor student learning, manage the classroom effectively, engage in professional growth, and fulfill established professional responsibilities.

Requirements

A Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred
Current Iowa Certificate with appropriate endorsement
