About The Position

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a la carte cooking
  • Experience using grills, deep fryer, stove and flat top
  • Certificate in Basic Food Preparation
  • Food Safe Handling Certificate
  • Good knife handling skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Exceptional communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Ability to rotate and work in all stations of the kitchen
  • Preparing all dishes from raw to finished state
  • Rotating stock, receiving orders and storing product
  • Adhering to strict cleanliness standards as you complete assigned tasks
  • Working as one team under stressful conditions during high volume business levels
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, move equipment and other items as needed
  • Working safely, and in compliance with OH&S policies and legislation
  • Thorough knowledge of all activities and promotions occurring at our casino properties
  • Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation
