About The Position

The City of Williston is accepting applications for one Second Alternate Member position on the Board of Appeals. The Board of Appeals consists of five (5) members and two (2) alternate members appointed by the Board of City Commissioners for three-year terms. The Board hears appeals involving the interpretation and enforcement of the City of Williston Building Code after a decision has been made by the City Building Official. As the Second Alternate Member, you may be called upon to serve when a regular member or first alternate is unavailable.
