About The Position
We are seeking a Seat Design Release Engineer with strong experience in automotive seating system design and product release. The role will support seating components from concept through production.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in automotive seating design and release engineering
- Hands-on experience as a Design Release Engineer (DRE)
- Strong proficiency in CATIA V6
- Experience with automotive seating systems and component development
- Knowledge of plastic and metal manufacturing processes and tooling
- Experience with feasibility studies, packaging analysis, and design optimization
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting prototype builds and production launches is preferred
