About The Position

The Louisville, KY facility specializes in the assembly of automotive seats and seat structures. We assemble a complete seat for the Corvette. This position does require repetitive motions & rotating stations. Lear is big on attendance and respectful behavior. We are a tight team and hold each other and ourselves accountable. Requirements

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required

Nice To Haves

One year of related experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Work as a team member on a production line adding various components to the seat assembly
Assure Safety & Quality standards are always followed
Contribute fully to continuous improvement initiatives
Adhere to “5S” and “World Class Housekeeping” standards
Help to achieve team performance goals and objectives
Identify and record any problems related to the product, process, and quality system
Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels
Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands & arms
Repetitive gripping and dexterous use of hands
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic is a must
Perform other duties as assigned
