About The Position

The Seasoner is responsible for operating, monitoring, and performing routine maintenance on seasoning equipment to ensure accurate seasoning application, product quality, and efficient production flow. This role supports daily production by preparing seasoning changes, maintaining sanitation standards, and adhering to all food safety, quality, and safety requirements.

Requirements

  • Ability to operate and troubleshoot seasoning and food processing equipment.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use powered and non-powered hand tools.
  • Ability to calculate seasoning usage, overflow material, and follow production formulas.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to follow SOPs, GMPs, HACCP, SQF, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to meet all quality, sanitation, and production standards.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, climbing, standing, or sitting for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment and move throughout the plant.

Nice To Haves

  • 1–3 years of experience operating seasoning, food processing, or similar manufacturing equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor seasoning equipment to ensure consistent seasoning application and product quality.
  • Prepare and change seasonings according to the production schedule.
  • Adjust equipment settings as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Calculate seasoning usage, overflow material, and program seasoning systems as required.
  • Review production schedules to anticipate seasoning changes and production needs.
  • Perform routine troubleshooting and basic maintenance on seasoning equipment.
  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble seasoning equipment to meet sanitation and GMP standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
  • Follow all GMPs, SOPs, HACCP, and SQF requirements.
  • Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Meet all quality, sanitation, safety, and production standards.
  • Participate in required food safety, quality, and safety training.
