Responsible for providing customer service, receiving and caring for wildlife in need of rehabilitation. This role involves interacting with visitors, staff, and volunteers, and handling public inquiries in person and via phone. The specialist will receive sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife, input admission records, transfer animals, and assist with their care in various areas including quarantine, isolation, and nursery. Responsibilities also include assisting with the care and treatment of wildlife, including transportation to and from veterinary appointments, and maintaining animal enclosures. Reporting on animal dispositions to the Curator of Animals is also required, along with adherence to the policies and philosophy of the City of Green Bay Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department.
