About The Position

The Seasonal Warehouse Clerk is a part-time, onsite role at the Williams-Sonoma distribution center in South Brunswick, New Jersey. The position supports distribution center operations by preparing and publishing reports, closing shipment loads and manifests, researching OS&D reports, and assisting with load planning. The clerk promotes safety awareness and applies Williams-Sonoma’s Mission, Vision, and Values in daily work, including when guiding other associates and departments. The role requires attention to detail, effective communication, customer service, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 6 months of experience using RF scanners.
Customer service experience.
Experience with PKMS, HUBM, and CCUI systems.
Strong Microsoft Office knowledge, especially Outlook, Excel, and Access.
Ability to multitask and be extremely detail-oriented in reports and communications.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and willingness to learn quickly.
Excellent attendance and willingness to contribute as part of a team by performing necessary duties.
Availability to work a full-time schedule that may include weekends or holidays, according to business needs.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
Ability to walk, stand, bend, and lift throughout the day; use a computer for extended periods; and lift and move up to 65 pounds, with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

Promote safety awareness and cultivate the company’s safety culture.
Use Williams-Sonoma’s Mission, Vision, and Values to guide daily activities, including providing guidance to other associates and departments.
Gather information and prepare, update, and publish distribution center reports.
Close Pool, OT, and Furniture loads as needed.
Close UPS manifests as needed.
Research and publish OS&D reports as needed.
Assist the Lead with load planning as needed.
