Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Forklift certification is a requirement of this position. Training and certification will be completed by a certified Oliver trainer
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible for consideration
  • Team player with well-developed problem-solving skills
  • Works well with people across the organization to gather information, make decisions/recommendations, and drive improvement
  • Excellent analytical skills and significant comfort working with numbers and MRP systems
  • Knowledge of standard procedures for receiving and shipping including customer requirements and state and federal regulations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift, push, and/or pull materials and components weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks, bend, reach, and work in close proximity to machinery as required by the role.
  • Must be able to work overtime and/or flexible shifts.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional technical training preferred
  • Three to five years warehousing responsibility preferred
  • Experience with power tools preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred

Responsibilities

  • Loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the facility.
  • Manually packaging materials and products for outbound shipments both domestically and internationally.
  • Assisting in receiving products and materials into the warehouse and utilizing data entry and labeling techniques accordingly.
  • Collaborating with other departments to expedite timely and cost-effective solutions for importing and exporting materials to both internal and external customers.
  • Maintaining the highest level of inventory accuracy and providing exceptional on-time delivery to all customers.
  • Pulling daily priorities from the ERP system and managing daily workload through the CSI Workbench.
  • Utilizing handheld barcode scanning guns and computers.
  • Receiving all direct and indirect materials, attaching identifying tags or labels, and marking information on gaylords or other containers.
  • Providing point of inspection when needed.
  • Assisting with inventory-related tasks such as cycle counting or other methods of inventory control.
  • Loading and unloading materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves using company-provided tools, and at times by hand into vehicles ensuring proper wrapping to prevent damage in transit.
  • Transporting materials from various locations to work sites/locations using a variety of material handling tools and equipment.
  • Scheduling outbound shipments with freight carriers as needed.
  • Troubleshooting and addressing any issues or problems that arise moving any material, finding creative solutions, and keeping team members well informed of the status and potential changes to delivery schedules.
  • Working with other members of the warehouse team on continuous improvement projects to reduce errors and reduce costs as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Scheduling same-day pick-ups and deliveries of products and materials.
  • Professional electronic communications with vendors, customers, third parties, and 3PL’s.
  • Working with power tools to construct crates for safe shipment of machines and parts.
  • Cleaning assigned warehouse and work areas daily and returning tools and equipment to designated areas.
  • Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and required hygiene protocols during all machining and production activities.
  • Identifying and promptly reporting any non-conforming materials, process deviations, or product defects to the Supervisor or Quality team.
  • Maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas in accordance with company standards and safety requirements.
  • Complying with all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to support a safe working environment.
