About The Position
Insomniac is seeking a motivated self-starter with a passion for dance culture and event operations to join their VIP Activations team. This role involves engaging with festival attendees ('Headliners') and assisting with various activations such as arts & crafts, food and beverage stations, scavenger hunts, and charitable giveaways. The ideal candidate will be energetic, social, adaptable, and creative, with a strong understanding of customer experience.
Requirements
- Experience in large-scale events (exceeding 5,000 attendees).
- Proactive and creative thinking, with problem-solving skills and the ability to 'think on your feet'.
- Ability to work long hours, weekends, and travel as needed.
- Personable, enthusiastic, and able to work well in group environments.
- Possess work authorization in the U.S. that does not require visa sponsorship by Insomniac.

Responsibilities
- Communicate enthusiastically and informatively about all VIP activations and offerings.
- Provide general festival information, including hours, stage names, major artists, and locations of amenities like medic tents, ATMs, and water stations.
- Assist in setting up the VIP area before doors open and maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout the festival.
- Be creative and flexible with various tasks, and actively engage Headliners to generate excitement for all activations.
