About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Bartender to join the team at AC Hotel Cincinnati at The Banks. This role is responsible for delivering memorable hospitality to guests by building genuine connections and providing engaging service. The Bartender will prepare beverages in a timely manner, understand guest needs, and maintain a positive and quick-paced attitude. Requirements

An engaging and welcoming personality
Current bartenders’ certification or appropriate license
Knowledgeable in the latest trends around mixology
Ability to be descriptive and sell
2-4 years of bartender experience
Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests
Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area
Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily
Guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu
Be accurate in order taking, confirming all special requests
Enhance guest experience by understanding bar details and engaging in conversation
Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
Assist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happy
Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation
Requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits
Maintain stock, cut, and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality
Mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard ingredient recipes and practicing portion control
Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest
Lock up and store all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposit cash drops and secure bank
