About The Position

Global Tote US, LLC, a leader in the pari-mutuel wagering industry seeks a Seasonal Track Operator at our Dayton, OH location. The ideal candidate for this role would be an entry level student who has an aptitude for and an interest in technology. Reporting to the Field Service Manager, the Track Operator is responsible for delivering outstanding results that support our products, customers, and teams.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills and the ability to work with end users
• Strong phone, computer, and data entry skills with demonstrated attention to detail
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of electronic schooling.
• Comply with applicable state, provincial and federal regulations.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Applicants will need to pass a thorough background screening and drug test

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated troubleshooting abilities is a plus
• Technical writing and test scripting skills

Responsibilities

• Responsible for daily performance testing, system initialization, monitoring tote computer operations and normal day end reports.
• Responsible for input of all information to the system, and for making any manual adjustments required insuring that the system operates properly.
• Responsible for communication links to track locations.
• Responsible for executing established procedures in emergency situations.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Responsible for opening up wagers and locking out wagers.
• Responsible for manual merge procedures in the absence of the Manager.
• Works indirectly with the mutuel representative and judges making sure he/she receives proper reports from Global Tote.
