About The Position

This seasonal position is crucial for upgrading, repairing, and managing technology equipment throughout the district. The Seasonal Technician will gain experience in various aspects of technology support, including troubleshooting, new installations, repairs, and maintenance. Flexibility in time and work is expected to complete a variety of district technology projects.

Requirements

Limited to no personal cell phone use.

Responsibilities

Become familiar with various elements of technology support including troubleshooting, new installs, repairs and technology maintenance.
Be flexible in their time and work to complete a variety of district technology projects.
Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions of devices including laptops, desktops, Chromebooks and other technology devices.
Complete preventive and annual maintenance procedures for district technology devices.
Have regular attendance and be punctual.
Be cooperative with other members of the seasonal team and department.
Follow the lead of the supervising technician.
Be productive and show initiative in completing daily assignment(s).
Receive and apply constructive feedback/suggestions.
Be a self-starter and a problem solver.
Demonstrate strong communication skills through speech, emails and texts as the situation requires.
Work independently while keeping focus on a given task.
Be flexible in your approach throughout the day.
Keep any district information you learn about others private.
Do not use department passwords beyond your required work, nor share them with anyone.
