About The Position
Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) is a large wine company with a portfolio of heritage brands. Stags' Leap Winery, located in the Stags Leap District, has a winemaking heritage dating back to 1893. The winery is seeking a Tasting Room Support Associate with customer service experience and a passion for creating excellent guest experiences. This role involves being a primary point of contact for guests, requiring a polite, friendly, and energetic demeanor.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- Some experience in retail sales or a similar hospitality setting
- Exemplary customer service skills required
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to relay knowledge of wines and wine production
- Dynamic with a positive attitude
- Clean professional appearance, and you excel at teamwork and interactions
- Knowledge of food and wine, the wine industry, Napa and Bay Area restaurants
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. (a case of wine)
- This position must work weekends (Friday, Saturday and Sunday), some holidays and evenings
Nice To Haves
- Wine industry and/or tasting room experience is highly desired but not required
Responsibilities
- Set-up and host wine tastings and tours for guests
- Provide world class customer service to site visitors
- Assist in events, private dinners and various site activities
- Assist with restocking, inventory, wine packing and floor upkeep
- Register operations, retail sales and wine club promotions
- Follow site policies and procedures.
- Complete projects and other duties as directed by Retail Sales Manager.
