About The Position

Each year, our seasonal tax team plays an essential role in helping make tax season a success for both our clients and our firm. We are seeking team members who are passionate about delivering exceptional service and helping clients develop wise habits of stewardship in pursuit of financial freedom. As a valued member of our Tax Department, you will provide support during our busiest season while working alongside a collaborative team dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of our clients. Seasonal opportunities are available from January through April 2027, with positions offered in several of our office locations. Whether you are seeking full-time or part-time employment, you'll enjoy a consistent weekday schedule with no evenings or weekends required. Applicants should desire to work in a fast paced, collaborative and professional environment and the ability to learn quickly with attention to detail. These roles DO NOT require previous tax preparer experience but do require above average typing, organization, precision and client confidentiality skills.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Interest and passion in the personal finance industry; history of prudent management in personal finances
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook
• Above average typing skills (minimum 40 wpm)
• Above average math skills and analytical abilities

Nice To Haves

• Previous tax preparer experience is NOT required.

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow detailed tax processes and procedures for intake and delivery.
• Stay current on changing processes and procedures throughout tax season.
• Meet with clients to prepare cover pages using tax documents provided.
• Collect and review client documents.
• Review and obtain client engagement letters.
• Update necessary client data in CRM system.
• Create electronic projects in CRM system.
• Update client opportunity in CRM system.
• Scan all client documents for storage in box.
• Assemble income tax return into a deliverable format for the client.
• Confirm all documents are scanned.
• Confirm Notes from Preparer are printed for use in delivery.
• Notify clients that returns are complete and ready for deliver/pick up.
• Coordinate and document delivery meeting.
• Place documents ready for delivery in appropriate place.
• Document and capture all process steps in CRM system.
• Perform other duties as required.
