About The Position

This role, potentially titled Operator I, is responsible for various production tasks within a controlled environment. Key responsibilities include verifying the quality and packaging of garments for shipping, operating specialized equipment, and ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment. The position may involve working in areas such as Heat Seal, Embroidery, DTF, or other departments based on business needs. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork, with opportunities to participate in improvement projects.

Responsibilities

  • Verifying the quality and packaging of licensed and unlicensed garments for shipping.
  • Operating multiple pieces of specialized equipment safely and properly.
  • Working in areas such as Heat Seal, Embroidery, DTF, or other departments as business needs require.
  • Operating shipping stations using shipping software.
  • Inspecting embroidered items for accuracy, consistency, and quality according to specifications, checking for defects like misalignment, skipped stitches, thread breaks, color errors, puckering, or incorrect placement.
  • Inspecting heat-sealed patches on products to ensure proper adhesion, placement, and alignment according to specifications, checking for seal integrity, bubbles, wrinkles, misalignment, incomplete adhesion, or other defects.
  • Properly tagging and labeling garments, packaging, and shipping orders per customer order.
  • Sorting incoming and outgoing products accurately into designated grid locations based on recipes or tape numbers, pick lists, order numbers, or system instructions.
  • Scanning or verifying items using handheld scanners, RF devices, or WMS systems to confirm correct placement.
  • Ensuring each grid location contains the correct items, quantities, and order information.
  • Assisting in printing and trimming DTF/DTT logos.
  • Returning and organizing thread spools by color, type, size, or material according to production or inventory specifications.
  • Inspecting threads for quality issues such as knots, frays, or inconsistencies.
  • Notifying VSM/VSS of any concerns regarding HR, Safety, and Security work policies, specific work instructions, and quality system requirements.
  • Behaving, speaking, and treating others in a respectful manner while supporting workflow.
  • Participating in kaizen or improvement project teams.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
  • Adapting to evolving job responsibilities.
