About The Position
Lake Country Power, an electrical distribution cooperative serving 43,000 services in northeastern Minnesota, has a temporary opening for a seasonal/summer facility maintenance worker at its Kettle River service center. The primary duties involve lawn maintenance at Lake Country Power's service centers, outposts, and substations. This role requires the student to report to their service center location and transport lawn maintenance equipment to outposts (Saginaw and McGregor) and various substations throughout the service territory.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Enrolled in a post-secondary education program
- Valid Class D MN Driver's License
- Experience operating and transporting lawn equipment
- Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
Responsibilities
- Lawn maintenance at Lake Country Power's service centers, outposts, and substations.
- Transport lawn maintenance equipment to outposts (Saginaw and McGregor) and various substations.
