Retail Seasonal Store Associate, Fabletics (The Village of Corte Madera - Corte Madera, CA)
About The Position
Fabletics Retail is hiring a Seasonal Store Associate for its store at The Village of Corte Madera in Corte Madera, California. The associate will help deliver a best-in-class retail shopping experience and connect customers’ online and in-store shopping journeys using retail technology. This is an onsite seasonal position expected to last 3–4 months, with the possibility of an extension. The role reports to the Store Manager. The associate engages customers, shares product knowledge, supports store events and community projects, maintains merchandising standards, and contributes to store performance and sales goals. The position involves unpacking inventory boxes weighing 10–30 pounds and requires frequent movement and standing.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to interact socially with customers, employees, and business partners inside and outside the store.
- Ability to work with large teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with retail inventory and POS systems.
- Self-motivated with good communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, set priorities, and work well under pressure.
- Flexibility to work onsite on a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to perform constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, and standing for at least two consecutive hours; the role may occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of work experience in a retail environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of or familiarity with active lifestyle activities such as yoga, cycling/spin, Pilates, weight training, running, and nutrition.
Responsibilities
- Represent Fabletics’ culture and values and help customers live their passion.
- Engage customers and explain product fabrics, features, fit, and function.
- Support customer engagement inside and outside the store, including store events, promotions, and community projects.
- Communicate inventory and training needs to the Store Manager.
- Maintain store merchandising guidelines to make the store easy to shop and enhance the customer’s purchase journey.
- Provide feedback to the Store Manager to help continuously improve the business.
- Meet or exceed store objectives for performance, productivity, efficiency, and quality.
- Maintain personal sales and achieve sales goals.
- Follow safety and security standards and identify and communicate potential issues.
- Unpack inventory boxes as required.
