About The Position

Bowriders Grill is a laid-back, waterfront restaurant located on beautiful Lake Union. We serve a fun and fresh dockside menu to locals, boaters, and visitors alike. Our kitchen is small but fast-paced, with an outstanding view of Lake Union, and we take pride in serving high-quality food with a casual vibe and a welcoming team atmosphere. We’re looking for individuals who are dedicated, proactive, and eager to contribute to our team’s success.

Requirements

  • Have a valid MAST Certification (Mandatory Alcohol Server Training)
  • Have a valid Washington State Food Handlers Permit
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must possess a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ability to stay self-motivated and driven in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be willing and available to work weekends and some holidays (including Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day)
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Strong multi-tasking skill and a great attitude under pressure

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working in a restaurant is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with serving/ waiting tables
  • Meal preparation
  • Provide upstanding customer service to restaurant attendees
  • Collect payment and orders from customers
  • Cleaning/ bussing tables/ doing dishes
  • Assist with prep work, receiving deliveries, and restocking
  • Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Communicate effectively with other restaurant staff
  • Contribute to a positive team culture in a small but fast-moving kitchen
  • Document all customer repair needs on work orders with the guidance of the Senior Tech
