About The Position

CHS Inc. is looking for an individual to join their seasonal grain team in Cheyenne Wells, CO, to assist in running daily scale operations during wheat & corn harvest. This role is ideal for someone looking to earn extra cash from now through the end of fall. CHS is a major buyer and trader of grains and oilseeds, moving over two billion bushels annually. No previous experience is needed, and the position offers competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and overtime hours. Shift schedules typically range from 7 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Saturday, depending on business demand, and include weekend hours. There is also a potential to join the team full-time at the end of the season. A $1,500 bonus is offered upon application.

Requirements

0-6+ months of Operations, Business Operations and/or Customer Service experience.
General data entry and computer skills.
Ability to work longer days, weekends, and/or holidays during peak seasons.
Pre-employment screening may be required, including drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements, and FMSCA Clearinghouse.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Weigh and grade grain in all inbound and outbound trucks using computer and manual tools for measurement.
Provide a high level of customer service by addressing customers in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner.
Answer telephone promptly and direct calls as needed.
Maintain a clean work area.
Assist other personnel as needed.
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations.
Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
