About The Position

CHS Inc. is looking for an individual to join their seasonal grain team in Haxtun, CO to assist in running daily scale operations during wheat & corn harvest. This is a temporary position from now through the end of fall. CHS is a leading global agribusiness owned by farmers, ranchers and cooperatives across the United States. No previous experience is needed. This role offers competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and overtime hours. Shift schedules range from 7a-7p M-Sa depending on business demand, with weekend hours and the potential to join the team full time at the end of the season. A $1,500 bonus is offered upon application.

Requirements

0-6+ months of Operations, Business Operations and/or Customer Service
General data entry and computer skills
Ability to work longer days, weekends, and/or holidays during peak seasons
Pre-employment screenings may be required, including drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements and FMSCA Clearinghouse.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

Weigh and grade grain in all inbound and outbound trucks using computer and manual tools for measurement.
Provide a high level of customer service by addressing customers in a prompt, efficient and courteous manner.
Answer telephone promptly and direct calls as needed.
Maintain a clean work area.
Assist other personnel as needed.
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations.
Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
