About The Position
As a Store Associate, you bring the Vera Bradley brand to life as its customer-facing representative. You work with store leadership to achieve sales goals and deliver an excellent shopping experience and best-in-class customer service. You uphold Vera Bradley’s core values and help make the world a brighter place through every customer touchpoint. The role involves recommending products to meet customers’ needs, supporting sales through add-on selling and customer outreach, engaging customers through product knowledge and team selling, and carrying out daily operational procedures. You also help maintain visual standards and keep the store organized and inviting. Associates are expected to be reliable and follow company policies and procedures. The role requires constant walking and standing, frequent bending, stooping, and reaching, strong sensory skills including eyesight, hearing, and dexterity, and the ability to consistently lift 10–35 pounds. Occasionally, associates may need to lift up to 55 pounds and push or pull more than 55 pounds. The listed base pay range is $13.84–$20.81, with a starting pay of $16.00 USD. Individual pay within the range depends on work location. The posted salary reflects base pay only and excludes bonuses, equity, or other incentives, if applicable. Requirements
- Enjoy interacting with people.
- Be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to support peak business needs.
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Constant walking and standing; frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
