About The Position

The Seasonal Sales Associate delivers a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and keeping the store clean and organized. The role follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. The position is seasonal and located at the TJ Maxx store in Winchester, Kentucky.

Responsibilities

Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns, and count change according to operating procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Maintain the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
