About The Position

All Store Team Members help build the company brand by delivering excellent customer service. The role provides customer service and drives sales through customer engagement and product advice. Team members may also be assigned merchandising, front-end, or other responsibilities as needed. Internally, the role is referred to as Service Team Member and reports to the store management team. This seasonal position is short term, no longer than six months, with the option to apply for a non-seasonal role.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–3 years of work experience; at least 1 year of retail experience preferred.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to walk, bend repeatedly, and remain on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets; climb ladders; and lift 50 pounds overhead repeatedly.
May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of experience in a retail setting.

Responsibilities

Drive sales and provide personalized customer service by greeting customers, building relationships, and informing them about products and services.
Process freight; organize, distribute, pull, and stock inventory; build displays and end caps; and place signage.
Support digital business operations by fulfilling orders and assisting with in-store and curbside pickup and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
Maintain store safety and cleanliness standards.
Follow applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and help maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
If delivery is added as an essential job function, load and deliver orders safely and professionally in accordance with company policies, procedures, and traffic and safety laws.
