About The Position

The Seasonal Sales Associate is the face of The North Face brand, creating memorable shopping experiences through genuine customer engagement, product knowledge, and exceptional service. Working collaboratively with the store team, the associate contributes to sales, visual merchandising, and operational excellence in a fast-paced retail environment. This position supports the store during peak season, with potential to transition to regular employment.

The role involves customer service and sales activities, assisting with merchandise presentation and replenishment, cashiering, loss prevention support, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The associate is expected to follow company policies and safety standards and model inclusive behavior that respects diverse backgrounds and experiences.

Requirements

• Ability to genuinely and comfortably engage with a diverse group of customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and adapt to changing business needs.
• Willingness to learn and share product and brand knowledge.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including basic retail systems and applications.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the store for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, squatting, climbing ladders, and lifting light to moderate weight, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• 0–1 year of relevant experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred; retail experience is a plus.
• Hands-on experience and demonstrated achievements.
