About The Position

Five Below is hiring part-time Seasonal Sales Associates to deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales during the busy holiday season, October through January. Associates help customers find merchandise, keep the sales floor organized and well-stocked, promote store events and offers, resolve customer concerns, and support team and company goals. The position is temporary and requires a flexible schedule to meet business needs.

Requirements

At least 16 years old.
Available to work a flexible schedule.
Comfortable with or willing to learn technology such as computers, cash registers, hand-held devices, and mobile devices.
Good communication skills and ability to engage with customers.
Ability to handle customer interactions and potential issues courteously and professionally.
Ability to use basic information-gathering skills to solve problems.
Ability to learn procedural knowledge through on-the-job training.
Ability to identify and understand email and printed instructions concerning merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

Greet and promptly assist customers, including handling multiple customer interactions efficiently.
Assess customer needs by sharing product knowledge, answering questions, directing customers to merchandise, and making recommendations.
Use suggestive selling and stay informed about product availability.
Inform customers about store events, promotions, and special activities.
Address customer concerns and offer product-based solutions, seeking exchanges in place of returns when possible.
Inform management about restocking needs, service requirements, and customer feedback.
Collaborate with the team to achieve store and company objectives and contribute to a positive work environment.
Perform additional responsibilities as determined by the Store Manager based on store needs.
