About The Position

UF Health Central Florida Division is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a seasonal 13-week Operating Room assignment supporting patient care at UF Health Leesburg Hospital OR and UF Health The Villages Hospital (Spanish Plaines Campus). Assignments may float between these locations based on competency and skill level.

The position requires three 12-hour shifts per week, with scheduling determined in partnership with the unit director. The role is identified as days, with compensation listed at a flat rate of $70 per hour for day shifts and $75 per hour for night shifts. Overtime is paid in accordance with the FLSA based on a 40-hour work week. Shifts are not guaranteed, although cancellations are described as unlikely.

Former UF Health Central Florida employees must have been separated from employment for at least six months to be eligible for the Market Resource Pool. Under the direction of the director or charge nurse, the RN uses the nursing process to assess and diagnose patients, formulate care plans, implement them, and evaluate the plan of care.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of RN experience.
• Florida Registered Nurse License.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Diploma or Associate's Degree.
• Former UF Health Central Florida employees must be separated from employment for at least 6 months to be eligible for the Market Resource Pool.

Responsibilities
