About The Position
The Seasonal Retail Sales Support Specialist supports PVH Dress Shirts at Northpark Center. This vendor-paid merchandise selling support role assists customers with product selection, applies product expertise to help customers make informed choices, executes merchandise standards, and maintains selling-floor presentations. The colleague helps keep the shopping environment neat, clean, organized, and customer-ready, and supports the vendor’s sales and promotional initiatives. Full-time colleagues are typically scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week; hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
Requirements

- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

- Flexible scheduling and availability to work retail hours, which may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift at least 30 pounds; stand for at least two consecutive hours; and perform lifting, constant moving, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.
- Close and color vision.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology necessary to perform job functions.
Responsibilities
- Make the customer the top priority and deliver a friendly, helpful customer experience.
- Use product knowledge to increase sales by educating and assisting customers with product selection.
- Maintain and recover the selling floor, ensuring sizes, colors, and styles are available.
- Maintain appropriate selling-floor presentation by promoting events and merchandise assortments.
- Keep fitting rooms customer-ready by promptly clearing brand-specific merchandise and returning it to the appropriate selling-floor area.
- Drive and exceed department goals by executing Macy’s initiatives to drive business.
- Communicate with vendors, Customer Experience Managers, Omni Operations Managers, and Style Merchandise Managers to support sales and event promotions.
- Follow all safety and security policies and procedures.
- Complete other customer-facing tasks as needed.
- Maintain regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Foster acceptance and respect and build authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
