About The Position

Squishable is seeking a Seasonal Retail Sales Lead to support the Store Manager and store leadership team during the busy holiday season at Potomac Mills. The role helps drive sales, develop the team, and create a fun, welcoming, and efficient experience for Squishable customers. The ideal candidate is passionate, organized, adaptable, confident, and comfortable interacting with people while remaining calm during busy periods.

This seasonal role runs from November 2026 through early January 2027. Team members must have flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Pay is $15.00–$16.00 per hour.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of retail, customer service, or leadership experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
• Passion for people and creating a fun, welcoming customer experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to stay positive and flexible during busy periods.
• Ability to work as a team player, motivate others, take initiative, and assist wherever needed.
• Comfort receiving and providing feedback and helping keep the team focused on shared goals.
• Flexible availability throughout the holiday season, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move cartons weighing up to 25 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in delivering a fun, welcoming, and efficient customer experience during the holiday season.
• Help lead the sales floor during peak periods, keeping the team focused on customer service and sales goals.
• Drive holiday sales through customer engagement, product recommendations, and knowledge of Squishable products.
• Support seasonal promotions, merchandising, replenishment, and keeping the sales floor organized and well-stocked.
• Help manage customer flow and resolve concerns with a positive, solution-oriented approach.
• Provide day-to-day direction and support to team members and assist wherever needed during busy periods.
• Support opening, closing, and keyholder responsibilities, as assigned.
