As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-oriented selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You learn what customers need, offer personalized recommendations, and connect them with appropriate products and services. Working on the sales floor or in fitting rooms, you use warmth, product knowledge, and a personal approach to build trust, meet sales targets, and inspire customer loyalty. The role emphasizes customer engagement, teamwork, and achieving selling goals, while helping maintain a clean, organized, inviting shopping space. Colleagues prepare for the day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals, top sellers, trends, and promotions, and ensuring the sales floor is ready for customers. Throughout the day, they welcome customers and build relationships; merchandise new receipts; process damages, testers, and selected merchandise returns to vendors; update signs and pricing; and assist with merchandise moves. They share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and provide a sincere closing interaction. Colleagues support one another and continuously learn to improve individual and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability.
