As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-focused selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, offer personalized recommendations, and connect them with appropriate products and services. You engage customers on the sales floor and in fitting rooms, use product knowledge and thoughtful selling behaviors to meet sales goals, and help build customer trust and loyalty. The role also includes keeping the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting. Colleagues prepare for the day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals and top-selling items, and staying informed about trends and promotions. Throughout the day, they welcome customers, build friendly relationships, and maintain a shoppable sales floor by merchandising new receipts, processing damages and testers, returning selected merchandise to vendors, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves. They share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and provide a sincere farewell. Teamwork, ongoing learning, and achieving individual and store results are central to the role. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability.
