About The Position

Filson is seeking a Seasonal Retail Sales Associate to support the team during peak business times for a temporary predetermined amount of time. This role will contribute to store business through personal selling achievements and by assisting with day-to-day operations. The Filson brand is built on a reputation of excellent product quality, performance, and associate knowledge. This position is crucial for providing exceptional customer service and fostering team empowerment.

Requirements

Passionate about helping others, guest facing service mentality.
Experience in guest facing service preferred.
Has personal time management skills.
Strong communication, both written and verbal skills.
Dependable Team player.
Curious, friendly, outgoing, positive and optimistic.
Flexible and adaptable to a high-change environment.
Must be available the week and weekend of Thanksgiving and Christmas week leading into the New Year.
Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
Confident, not afraid to insert yourself in new situations.
Interest in fashion, technical gear, and/or outdoor lifestyles.
Must be 18+ yrs old.
Able to stand for 8 hours.
Able to lift and carry 30 pounds, as needed.
Able to reach overhead, as needed.
Able to pull clothing and luggage from shelves.
Able to bend, kneel, or stoop.

Responsibilities

Ensure consistent Filson Way Guest Experience standards are met.
Ensure Visual and Operational Standards are met.
Greeting guests, answering phones, engaging guests daily.
Gift Wrapping, as needed.
Support the team during peak holiday months, November - January.
Achieve daily and weekly selling goals.
Occasionally support store events (in-store or offsite) outside of store posted operating hours, if needed.
Keeping all areas of the store clean, presentable, and stocked; perform duties related to opening and closing the store.
Processing shipments, packing orders and other operational requirements as needed, including refilling sizes and backstock.
Regularly and consistently abides by Time & Attendance policies and all policies and procedures included within.
Regularly and consistently abides by the Standards of Conduct and Ethics, and all policies and procedures included within.
Availability to include either/and/or days, nights and weekends as needed for the business.
Must be available to work during the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Other duties assigned as needed.
