About The Position

As a Seasonal Bluemercury Beauty Expert, you drive sales and optimize customer service through client interactions and relationship-building. You serve as a beauty advocate, consistently modeling best-in-class service by assisting clients and meeting their beauty needs. Awareness of current trends and the ability to connect with others are essential to the role.

Requirements

• Proven retail experience, preferably in the beauty industry.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and knowledge-sharing skills.
• Passion for beauty and staying current with trends and products.
• Ability to work flexibly, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Self-motivated and supportive of operational excellence.
• Resourceful and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• 1–2 years of direct experience required.
• Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and respect toward customers and colleagues.
• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods; exposure to fragrance and home fragrance products; frequent use of computers, handheld electronic equipment, and cash registers; reaching, crouching, kneeling, and stooping; color vision; and lifting or moving items up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, personalized customer relationships and provide a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.
• Maintain and continually update knowledge of beauty products and current industry trends across skincare, makeup, haircare, and fragrance.
• Recommend products tailored to clients’ needs, preferences, and skin types; demonstrate products and provide application tips.
• Drive sales by communicating product benefits and promotions, and encourage repeat business by sharing information about loyalty programs and upcoming events.
• Assist with stock management, product availability, and keeping the store organized and visually appealing.
• Participate in and occasionally lead in-store beauty workshops.
• Collect customer feedback about products and services and share insights with the management team.
