As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, offer personalized recommendations, connect them with products and services, and use product knowledge and customer engagement to achieve sales goals and build loyalty. The role includes helping maintain a clean, organized, inviting, and shoppable sales floor, and is about more than cashiering. Colleagues prepare for the day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals and top-selling products, and staying informed about trends and promotions. They welcome customers, build relationships through friendly conversations, merchandise new receipts, process damages and selected returns to vendors, update signs and pricing, and assist with merchandise moves. They also share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and provide a sincere closing interaction. Teamwork, continuous learning, and improving individual and store results are important parts of the role. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability.
