As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-focused selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable shopping experiences. You learn what customers need, provide personalized recommendations, and connect them with suitable products and services. You engage customers on the sales floor and in fitting rooms, use product knowledge and smart selling behaviors to meet sales goals, and help build customer trust and loyalty. You also help keep the shopping space clean, organized, and welcoming. Colleagues prepare for each day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals, best-selling products, trends, and promotions, and ensuring the sales floor is ready for customers. During the day, they build friendly customer relationships, maintain a shoppable space by merchandising new merchandise and supporting merchandise moves, process damages, testers, and vendor returns, and update signs and pricing. They share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and close interactions with a sincere thank-you. The role emphasizes teamwork, dependability, continuous improvement, and achieving individual and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability.
