As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-driven selling with genuine hospitality to create positive holiday shopping experiences. You learn about each customer’s needs, offer personalized recommendations, and connect customers with products and services. Through product knowledge, customer engagement, and smart selling behaviors, you work toward sales goals, build trust, and encourage customer loyalty. The role also involves keeping the shopping space clean, organized, and inviting. At the start of the day, colleagues prepare the sales floor, review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and popular products, and stay informed about trends and promotions. During customer interactions, they offer a warm welcome and create personal conversations. They also maintain a shoppable space by merchandising new receipts, processing damages, testers, and selected merchandise returns to vendors, updating signs and pricing, and assisting with merchandise moves. Colleagues share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and end interactions with a sincere thank-you. They support teammates through honest, caring collaboration and work to improve, learn, and achieve individual and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability. The position requires flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
