About The Position

The Rental Crew is the heart and soul of Rocky Mountain Paddleboard (RMP). As a member of the Rental Crew, you will be the primary point of contact for guests, wielding the most influence over their experience. RMP is seeking passionate, kind, and hardworking individuals who are ready to share the S.T.O.K.E. on the water every day. This role thrives in a fast-paced, physical, and people-first environment. Requirements

• Must be able to lift 45+ lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
• Must be able to stand for 4-6 hours at a time.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all conditions—rain or shine—without air conditioning.
• Must be able to work at least two full shifts per week (shifts are typically 8-10 hours).
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must possess a valid CPR/First Aid certification before starting work.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all RMP and Reservoir safety protocols are followed without exception.
• Fit every guest with a life jacket (PFD) and clearly convey paddling and safety protocols to groups of up to 20 people.
• Participate in ongoing safety training.
• Greet every guest with genuine enthusiasm and set the tone for an unforgettable adventure.
• Manage boards, kayaks, reservations, and timing while maintaining positive energy.
• Handle the daily setup and breakdown of the location, ensuring all gear is clean, organized, and guest-ready.
• Operate the reservations and point-of-sale system using a tablet.
• Anticipate problems and create solutions.
• Operate with patience, inclusion, and genuine care in every interaction.
• Guide nervous first-timers and welcome guests of all abilities and backgrounds.
• Inspire guests to respect the natural environment.
• Actively participate in keeping the shoreline and waterways clean and healthy.
