Seasonal Receiving Dock Worker - 1st Shift
About The Position
This seasonal role involves inspecting received products for damage, defects, or discrepancies, and organizing and storing them in appropriate warehouse locations. The worker will communicate with supervisors regarding any order issues and must adhere to all safety policies. The position is located at the Indy North facility and is expected to last through the facility’s peak season, with the duration potentially adjusting based on department workload and business needs. The work environment is characterized by an experienced and tenured team, peak season fun activities like food trucks and competitions, and a diverse, inclusive, and welcoming atmosphere.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience
- Basic math skills for accuracy in confirming received quantities
- Proven success working in fast-paced, high-demand seasonal periods
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout duration of 8 to 10-hour shift
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal) to be able to collaborate with team members and follow direction from leadership
