Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in a machining or fabrication environment, preferably having some experience working with measurement equipment.
Strong ability to interpret blueprints with some exposure to geometric tolerancing.
Basic familiarity with measurement equipment.
Exposure to technical math, mechanical abilities, with writing and reading abilities.
Able to work under stress and deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Good organizational skills.
Able to analyze and problem-solve.
Service attitude, commitment to quality.
Able to work independently and with others at all levels; good communication skills.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and documentation.
Ability to work overtime as required.
Ability to work in a manufacturing shop environment (including hot, cold and/or noisy areas).
Frequent hand to finger, handle, feel objects & tools, walking, sitting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, talking and hearing.

Nice To Haves

Exposure to ISO9001, ISO13485, AS9100 or equivalent standards desired.

Responsibilities

Participate in inspection activities that support first article (templates, records, etc.), in-process, quality release, final inspections, comprehensive dimensional inspections.
Assist manufacturing with troubleshooting product quality problems.
Document non-conformities to customer requirements and work with responsible person(s) as assigned to resolve.
Create, validate and save inspection procedures for quality and manufacturing, as well as other quality documents and records.
Assist in audits of the group, processes, product or documentation.
Assist in cause and corrective action investigation.
Assist or perform capability studies, GR&R studies when needed.
Participate in Quality team meetings.
Participate in projects as assigned to ensure customer product quality requirements are maintained.
