About The Position

Ascentec is hiring Quality Inspectors to join their team! This critical position within the company presents a great opportunity for someone to provide final assurance to all our valued customers that their products are being provided with the highest level of quality possible. This position is on-site at our Dallas, Oregon facility. Preference will be given to candidates that have experience working in a manufacturing setting, but this is not required. We are hiring for the day shift: Monday through Thursday, 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

Ability to read, understand, and interpret internal and customer provided mechanical prints including GD&T
Basic experience with a wide variety of metrology equipment including Optical comparator, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, etc.
Self-Starter / Self-Motivated / Flexible / Detail Oriented
Reliable and dependable

Applicant must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check prior to employment.
To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in a manufacturing setting
Experience with operating manual and/or automated CMM a plus
Prior machinist experience

Responsibilities

Receiving, In-process and Final inspections
Primary operator for the dedicated metrology equipment – Optical comparator etc.
Visual Product Inspections – Surface Cosmetics of Plated/Painted and bare material parts
Generate Clear and concise Non-conformance Reports
Ability to work overtime
